වැහි දවස්

වැහි රළක් ඇදහැලෙන 
අඳුරු හවසක වුව
එළිබිඳක් ඉඟි පායි 
දිය කඩිති මතුපිට
කබායක් රත් පැහැති 
වැහි අඳුර මැද 
බොහෝ දුරක් ඇදී යයි 
සිනහා අරගෙන
