බොහෝ දුර යන ගමනක
නතරවී එක බිඳකට
සඳක් කවියක් මුමුණයි
රත් පැහැති ලා දළුවට

ලොවම නිදි ගත් මොහොතක
දෑත් විහිදා අඳුරට
දැනී නොදැනී සැඟවෙයි
සෙනෙහසක මුදු නල රළ
