එකම සිතිවිල්ලකි මගෙන් මේ
නුඹ ළඟයි තව, නොනිදාම මම
සුළං සහසකි හමා කැළඹෙන
හිම කැටිති මත එළිය, විසිරෙන
සරු කෙතක් මත හිරු එළිය මම...
සරත් කල ඉහිරෙනා වැසි මම

අවදි වෙද්දී නිහඬ උදයක
ගගන සරනා සියොත් කැළ සේ
මියුරු හැඟුමයි හද නඟාලන
තරු එළිය මම රැයේ දිදුලන
නොතැවෙන්න මා නැතැයි කිසිදින
නුඹ ළඟයි මා සෑම අරුණක
